amin peck is an electronic studio project, contaminated by the new wave from u.k. like most ’80s electronic bands. amin-peck walked a fine line between disco and minimal wave throughout the course of the early 1980s, oftentimes incorporating shameless pop melodies and avant-garde leanings. amin peck were an italian band leaded by giorgio fioroni (aka george fyron, arrangements, production, vocals) with leonard parker (arrangments, keyboards) and max marne (production). incredible but true, amin peck started as hard rock guitar band in the 70s... and becoming one of the best examples of italo disco. this limited edition it contains full-length versions plus uncut audio material (a2) tracked down during tape restoration. somewhere in between de la soul, max graef and terrence parker lives georgi barrel. this mini album is a musical paradigm representing our definition of 2015 club music. infos about artist & record georgi barrel is a highly creative genius producer from kassel, germany. in 2014 we first time took notice of him – and were instantly excited. his highly distinctive, very relaxed and boogie-influenced style is pure joy. from wonky de-la-soul-grooves up to smashing ugly-drums like disco edits: on this album georgi is traveling through the undiscovered no mans land between house, hiphop and disco – the result is a masterpiece that definitely holds a candle to glenn astros throwback or max graef’s rivers of the red planet.

after retiring from the jamaican police force arthur duke reid established his treasure isle liquor store and sound system in pink lane kingston and was crowned the undisputed king of sound and blues in 1956, 57 and in 58. the duke then moved into record production and after relocating the store to 33 bond street, he then built a recording studio on top of his new premises in 1966. according to the musicians and singers the wooden construction of the treasure isle recording studio gave the music a distinctive warmth and richness and with resident engineer byron baron/smithy smith at the controls, the sound of a bond street recording was immediately recognisable.
